Hello,

I'd like to use two of the nuvola icons (CD with a note and the movie icon) in a thesis for the university. How should I cite it?

Thanks for the great work.

Regards, smash

Hi:

I love your art icons and would like to get your permission to use a few icons on our web site (still under construction). The graphics are superb and the colors shades are beautifully chosen.

Thanks

This is a free software worlds, and as was to be expected, there are now many oxygen-gnome projects on Gnome look.

The only problem I see is, that the copyright-info seems to have been missing.

About anything else: Marketing is different in a free software world. You can't expect people not to want to have somethign which is fresh. And if it's public, they will get it at some time.

...and now the theme has been pulled from gnome-look.org.

Sorry, KDE people, you can talk all you want about free artwork for free software, but I can't hear your words over the sound of your actions.

Hi David, first I want to thank you and all the other guys from Oxygen and Kde for the work you are doing. Really thanks.

Otherwise about these mimetypes I have some doubt. I understand the reasons for use the official logos of the projects (Ruby, Python,..) but I am also thinking this disturb a little bit the homogeneity of the Oxygen project look. The Python edge is really plane instead of the Ruby one and all the other Oxygen icon. I can also understand that using the official logos the files are better identified than using something different.

I want to apologies for my english... I hope you and all users are able to understand what I mean. ( I can write in italian but I think it's not a good idea for an international blog :P)

Bye bye

Luca aka Pedro

@ Sebastian Sauer

I know, we still have to the icon for JS and the fact JS doesn't have an official logo kinda sucks. For others languages, like Perl, we have used the popular "camel" from the O'Reill book. We'll see. Will have to work on that one soon.
